Isn't it shocking to read about this demand for 100% increase in bus fares by Pan Malaysia Bus Operators Association (PMBOA)? They said that if not 100%, they would SETTLE for 70% provided other terms are met.
Urghhh just when you thought that prices for most items have come down because of the great fall in crude oil to less than US$60 per barrel at this time of writing. It’s ridiculously excessive.
Oh well, if they wanna increase their fares, there's nothing we could do, really. The G should look into this matter as soon as possible but it looks like they have more important things to do.
If their demands are met, the three hour train ride from Ipoh to Kuala Lumpur for RM10 only looks increasingly attractive. Let's hope that KTM could bring us better rail coaches sooner AND maintain their fare.
Maybe, it’s going to be even cheaper to OWN a car.

It doesn't affect me most of the time. Since everywhere I go, I go with car. For bus, I'll demand for better safety, price is not a problem for me.
