Say Please, Say Thank You

Running multiple blogs, every other day I would receive emails or comments from random people asking me for help. It could be something like where to download a particular movie or song, or where to buy a particular cooking ingredient or more complex stuff like how to withdraw from PayPal, what works and what does not, how to sell on eBay, how to receive payment, how to pay for a purchase or even how to make money from blogs without affecting our PageRank.

Oftentimes, I would reply by email because I don't want to publish these people's email in the comment page in case they get spammed. And I tell you, nine out of ten times, I would not get a reply or acknowledgement, regardless if they found my reply helpful or not. It pisses me off as these people only know how to ask and never show appreciation that a stranger like me could take time off to reply their 101 questions, sometimes going out of the way to help them, like looking for information or supporting documentation, compiling links, or uploading large files for them to download because they are too large to be emailed.

This December, I would have been a blogger for three years already and frankly, I have had enough of such rudeness. You know, you may think that I'm making something out of nothing or that I am petty but PLEASE and THANK YOU are just common courtesy and if you are asking me for something and if you just can't even show me that, then sorry, I am no longer going to fulfill your requests. Not showing common courtesy just reflects on your own upbringing and ultimately tells much about your parents.

LOL Eibla, Why are you saying "Thank you" when I did not assist you in anything?

Hehe.. it doesn't really matter isn't it? It could be a thank you for all your kind replies to my comments and sharing your views in this blog, right? :)

Eibla,

You are always so kind. In fact, I thank you for continuing to support my blog! Thanks!
