I got to know of KLPF 2008 yesterday afternoon. This photo festival will be held on the ground floor of Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur, on 18th & 19th Oct, 2008 (Sat & Sun).

The Kuala Lumpur Photo Festival (KLPF) is an annual event and provides an opportunity for photographers and hobbyists to converge to share photography tips and tricks, share their beautiful shots and slide shows and most of all, make friends with like-minded people.

From what I see, there will be free talks, seminars and forums by renowned photographers in the country who will willingly share their knowledge. I noticed that these would be conducted in the three major languages; English, Malay and Chinese, so most people would be able to participate in these activities.

I also went through the list of companies that would be manning a booth at the Festival. I wonder if there will be some awesome deals there too. Hhmm have been looking for a digital camera for quite awhile now but am not sure how much budget I should set aside. But it’s just too bad that I am in Ipoh and unable to attend the Kuala Lumpur Photo Festival. SIGH, why are all the good stuff NOT in Ipoh?
