I went to Kinta City last evening to pick up some stuff and bumped into a Lantern Parade by children. Ughh... it was raining and the kids were carrying the lanterns and walking all over the building of Kinta City! Could you imagine that? It was so pathetic that I did not even bother to take a picture! LOL
And the worse thing is that even though this is a children's event, most of those carrying lanterns were the parents! Sad la, I hope that if I were a parent, I don’t have to do these things.
I think that playing with lanterns and candles at home would be an even better experience instead of doing it in a brightly lit building! And the crowd! I hate crowds! It would have been better if it wasn't raining but then it's been a really wet week here in Ipoh!
