Do you remember the lady friend, Evon, I told you about who plans to set up a home based jewelry business?
A friend once told me that if you want to start a business, you need a business plan. Frankly, I did not listen to him fully because I started my business on impulse. I did not have a goal except that I aim not to lose any money in my venture. So as long as I turn a profit every month even though it may be a small amount only, I am happy.
Evon, on the other hand, aims big. She is already planning, though not actually DOING it yet, on what she wants to do with her business and what level she hopes to reach with it. Evon also has high hopes of introducing her brand name with a bang and is already talking to an advertising agency that would be able to help her achieve that.
I don’t know if Evon will actually see it through her plan. Many of us plan something but put it down midway because of the challenges. It takes a lot of willpower and discipline and I hope that Evon has that. I certainly would like to see her succeed in her home based jewelry business.
