So the Permatang Pauh by-election is over and done with without much fanfare, at least not here in Ipoh, or surprises. DSAI, as expected, secured the Permatang Pauh Parliamentary seat and will once again grace Parliament with his presence starting tomorrow.
One has to wonder what is in store for Malaysians in general. What will change, what will not? As an arm chair politician who is politically aware since primary school days, I continue to say, it matters not who leads the Government of the day but who is brave enough to stand up for us when necessary. That's the reason these people are voted in to Parliament in the first place, but many of them seem to forget once they are in there.
I say, if these leaders are able to deliver to the Rakyat what have been promised to them, then they will continue to enjoy our votes.
