The other day, I wrote a post on how annoyed my father was getting a sales call from Maxis and I myself got a similar call from Astro. The thing is that they were pitching sales to us without knowing what product package we are already subscribed to and that just totally wasted our time.
I think though, that my father and I had it easy. Some of my friends, are getting calls like these almost on a daily basis and it is annoying to say the least.
My sister told me that in the United States, phone line subscribers are given provisions to stop such calls from getting through by blocking the phone numbers of marketers.
What American phone users, whether land line or cellular line, need to do is to register their phone numbers with the National No Call Registry and they will be given FIVE years of reprieve from sales calls! How awesome is that?
If your telephone number is registered with the National No Call Registry, you do not even need to use Reverse Phone Lookups services. However, if unidentified calls still get through despite being a registered number already, you can utilize this service who are the actual callers and take necessary action from there.
