The Problem With Perak

While the other four states that fell into the hands of opposition have clear winners in the recent 12th Malaysian general election, for Perak, the winning party is actually DAP while the state legislature dictates that the Menteri Besar [Chief Minister] MUST be a Malay and a Muslim.

Even with a 100% total win in Perak state seats, the DAP, with Chinese and Indian winning candidates, will not be able to represent the state of Perak as Menteri Besar.

So, the only option would be a winning candidate of a Perak state seat. I tell you, with the majority of the population in urban cities in Perak Chinese, nobody likes to have a Pas MB. What if we cannot wet anymore? lol

Having PKR as the MB is slightly better but it still underlines the fact that the Chinese will always be third class in the country when the state and country are protected by ancient racial laws.

It’s really heartache for the DAP state seat winners, don’t you think so?
