During the election campaign, I was telling my friend that most of these people who were contesting in the elections have their own agenda on why they want to contest. There are people with hidden ambitions, there are people who want to be YBs so that they can escape from the law or whatever legal implications and there are people who want to take the first step so that they can be a Minister in the country and there are also people who wants to be the Prime Minister of the country.
Well, the list goes on and on, of course.
The bottom line is that most of these people are power crazy. Sure they can deny it. Sure they dare not show that there are so, but give them a little more power and they will fight among themselves for even more power.
You think that they want to represent us so that they can champion for our rights in Parliament or the State Assembly? Think again. Why is it that the State Assembly people in Perak are fighting for the Exco post? RM10,000 per month wor... who does not want??
I tell you, people are very smart now. Do a good show for us and you will get an extended term. Do a bad show and you will be shown the door in the next General Elections.
