I read from a couple of blogs that there will be a state wide election rally in Penang tomorrow and supporters of DAP are encouraged to dress in red to show their support for the party and the cause they are championing.
Well, Penang must be dang hot right now, what with the crack in Gerakan and the inability of the outgoing CM to name his successor. Hah...it is interesting to see who will be the next CM and what he can bring to Penang and the people of Penang.
I have friends who purposely drove to Penang to attend the ceramah. They are not necessarily DAP supporters but they are there to listen to the ceramah as observers. Just so you know, attendees of ceramahs may not necessarily support the politician in question. Well, it IS the General Elections. The 12th one for Malaysia and it is kind of HUGE. The opposition has gained momentum and support of the people. Let's see if these attendance numbers will be converted into votes.
I asked my friend to get me the little red rocket kukujiao mascot. LOL Hope he can get hold of one for me.
