On Christmas Eve day, my close friend sent me a text message asking why I didn't get him a gift. Eh... I KNOW he does not celebrate Christmas but I think he just wanted a gift from me and Christmas Day is an excellent excuse. But I still felt bad about it because honestly, yeah, I could have gotten him a gift as well. What's another gift in the long list of gift recipient, right?
A couple of days ago, I was at the mall and saw this very beautiful gift set which comprises of a leather wallet, belt, tie clip and a pair of cufflinks. It's not cheap and would look great as a gift BUT the problem is that my friend has no occasion to dress up formally at all. He would have no use for the tie clip or cufflinks.
Should I or should I not buy it for him on the off chance that he may need to attend a formal dinner once a year? LOL Or should I just get him something more common like a book or CD?
