A couple of weeks ago, a friend asked me out and tried to get me to invest in his gold investment program. I heard him out but I did not invest money mainly because it is RM100,000 per share and I certainly do not have that much spare change even if he guaranteed an interest rate of more than 30% per annum.
I was also sceptical because there is no way that an investment company could meet that high interest rate even if their investment portfolio includes silver and diamonds besides gold.
My mother has always told me that it's always better to invest through proper legal channels or a fool and her money are soon parted and no one would pity her but laugh at her instead for being foolish.
Anyway, I am not up to that level to invest into precious metals yet. Hopefully in the near future!
