It's Thanksgiving holiday in the west on Thursday, where it always falls on the second last Thursday of November in the United States. Well, although it is not a holiday here in Malaysia, I always take time off to reflect on the past months, from January onwards. I do this because by Thanksgiving in November, we pretty much know how the year has shaped up for us. Besides, November is a pretty special month for me. I may sometimes feel depressed slightly but then it just take small things to cheer me up.
Yes, this year I have plenty to be thankful for. I may have had a bumpy year which my friends could attest to because they have to put up with my complaints (sorry, just wanted somebody to LISTEN to me) but I also shared my high points with friends so I hope that makes up for the downturns!
I may not have a turkey to celebrate with but then I am so simple, I feel blessed when my monkeys, family, friends and myself are healthy and making good use of our lives.
