Flying Cheaply

Yesterday, I asked if there was a cheap no-frills flight to Amsterdam. Well, there isn't! I talked to my friend about it and he told me that in America, there is something called CheapoAir which has a website at http://www.cheapoair.com/ where one could buy the cheapest air tickets on the internet. It seems that this is a very popular site among travellers because CheapoAir guarantees the lowest airfare assuming all things equal, like departure date and time.

I tried out the search engine for the cheapest air fares. On this site, it is called FLIGHTS so look out for it. I am asked to enter as much information as possible like Round trip, One Way or Multiple Cities, preferred outbound and return airports including the date and time, the number of passengers and their age group and also my preferred service class. Here, we have the standard Coach, Business or First Class.

Clicking on the link MORE SEARCH OPTIONS, I could further filter my search by stating my top three airline preference. I could also check on five different options: Direct Flights Only, Jet Service Only, No Refund Penalty, No Ticketing Deadline and/or No Min/Max Stay Restrictions.

And lastly, I could place alternative outbound and return airports which should naturally be different from what I stated at the top of the search form.

By providing all these information, CheapoAir could search for the cheapest (cheap is not good enough) air ticket(s) for me based on my requirements.

My search was just to test out the website and I find that it is very simple to use. Some other sites that I have been to are so confusing, I rather just close my browser but I think even my parents who are not web savvy could navigate CheapoAir. With CheapoAir, now hop on a plane and fly without all the hassle that used to be associated with air travel!!
