Since I started writing paid posts, there is something I discovered. There are other bloggers who write for pay as well who would ALWAYS go to Technorati, Google Blog Search or whatever site to find blog posts that were written for these advertisers. I am totally convinced that this is being done by a handful of people habitually. Can't they think up their own ideas for the sponsors?
There was once that a blogger from Singapore who copied my sponsored post in its entirety except the text link. That really riled me because what if I was made to look like the copy cat and not the other way around? I find that totally lame of the person.
I reported him/her of course and was told that the person has been banned from the marketplace. I took his word for it and did not check the blog.
Anyway, now I see these people coming to my blog with keywords of advertisers to read those posts that I wrote, I am wondering if any of my posts are copied wholesale but I do not even have time to check with CopyScape.
You know, once bitten twice shy.
