Just now, one of my neighbours who tried to get me and the couple opposite my house to join the Christian activities of his church came over to let us know that the couple opposite has already been baptized. Wah... if I remember correctly, he started asking us to church and cell meetings in May this year. He did not dare to force me that much because he knows that my father does not like it. We are Buddhists/Taoists, by the way.
I mean, IF I were a freethinker, then by all means he could try to recruit me but we already have a religion then please back off, right?
The senior couple living opposite my house, on the other hand,are were non-practicing Buddhists. So, that's why they joined the church so fast.
It is so ironic that they have lived here for more than forty years and not join the local church and now, after only four months, they already converted and their church is the one that is in our neighbourhood too! Actually, come to think of it, I went there for my kindergarten classes lol How time flies.
