I haven't been to Kuala Lumpur since the 1980s because I can't go even if I have the occasion because I have the two monkeys. I don't miss Kuala Lumpur because I have most things in my cow town anyway, and I have heard too many first hand accounts at how crazy life can be in KL, especially the sardine packed LRTs.
What I miss about KL are the fairs. My friend Alex is always mailing me notices of this or that fair even though he knows that I am out of KL Arghh I do wish I can go one round.
The latest fair that I am informed of is the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair 2007. This is one fair I really wish to attend. It has been a long while since I had the leisure to hold a book but I still love books and still collect them hoping that one day I will have the book reading luxury again!
If you don't already know, the KL International Book Fair 2007 is held from 27th April to 3rd May, 2007 from 10am to 9pm at the Dewan Tun Hussein Onn at Putra World Trade Centre.
This is one of those times when I can't say, "See you there!"
