I have used my current mobile phone for more than two years if not mistaken. And this is only my second mobile phone in my lifetime. You see, I am not someone who will change my phone as often as I change clothes because to me, my phone is just a means of communication and not an accessory.
However, now I feel like changing it because I saw so many advanced phones with features that I really would like to have, when I was phone shopping with my dad. My dad is the one who is always changing phones, but Motorola only.
For me, coincidentally, both phones are French brand names.
One of the main reasons that I am reluctant to change is because no shop would allow me to trade in my phone for a newer model because they said no more spare parts. Which is true also. When my phone's battery conks out, I guess I will have no choice but to change my phone. Buying the battery is a hassle. I remember going all over town searching for the battery for my previous phone. French phones aren't popular, and worse, an out of date model. And when I finally found it, it was double the price of a Nokia battery. *sigh*
I can change it now but the problem is, where to keep my current phone? It is in perfect working condition and it has sentimental value because I won it in a contest. It is my lucky phone. Maybe I'll just wait till it dies. And then I will have the headache of searching for a phone that meets my needs and budget. Bah!
