Did you know that The Americas were once Atlantis? From the north most tip of Alaska to the south most end of South America, it was known as the Kingdom of Atlantis.
I have heard of this Kingdom of Atlantis when I was studying History in school but have totally forgotten about it until I came across the website AtlantisKingdom.com
Now that I reread the whole story of Atlantis, I can recall in great detail how my teacher explained the mysterious Kingdom to us that made us all interested. This was the only time I remember we actually LIKED History.
My teacher was doing like what Plato did many years ago at his Academy, which would be known as a University in today's standards, explaining to scholars everything about Atlantis.
Plato was a philosopher and educator in ancient Greece. He invited a group of scholars to come to his school and speak to the students.America is such an old country now and people are still fascinated by its History. An island off Tampa Bay in Florida is said to have been where the royal city of Atlantis was located.
The event took place over a period of a few days or a week and was similar to an educational seminar. The most educated and accomplished people of that time including politicians and community leaders were educated at the Academy.
It would be interesting if we could turn back time be able to see the real Atlantis Kingdom in all its glory.
