I already told my friend not to apply for too many credit cards but he kept saying he needs to help friends with fulfilling their sales quota. It's good to help friends out but not when he cannot even control his own spending. He himself has two mortgages to meet, not to mention home insurance. The credit companies ran a credit check on him and he doesn't even qualify for secured loans.
The funny thing was when he tried to open current accounts with a few local banks, but they found that he is already blacklisted by the Central Bank for bounced checks!
He now needs to refinance his car loan to settle the bills that he raked up over the Christmas holidays!
